California Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, requires the State of California to maintain and publish a list of chemicals known to potentially cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. This list currently contains over 900 chemicals and is updated annually.
Some products offered through our website may contain one or more chemicals included on the Proposition 65 list, such as lead, cadmium, nickel, chromium, and other trace substances found in raw materials, coatings, or manufacturing processes. Out of an abundance of caution and in order to comply with California law, we provide this warning based on the possible presence of these substances — not on a specific level of exposure or risk.
